The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has been a wake-up call for all of us regarding the fragility of our societies. The world today faces many unsolved issues – from climate change to income inequality – that need to be addressed.

In 2020, despite the disruption caused by the pandemic, a number of companies looking to be active members of the society in which they operate rose to the challenge by embracing sustainability, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles in an effort to tackle some of these pressing issues.
